This flyover should be located on the intersection of Exit N2 and Universitetskaya Street. Total length of the viaduct is 447.8 m. Deck is being conceived as a RC structure of H-type cross-section main girders with solid RC slab of carriageway. Piled foundation is being developed via bored piles. Solid pier body has trapeze form with middle cross-section of 1.6 х 3.2 m. Monolithic cross-bar is being calculated with dimensions of 1.5 х 7.2 m.
Exit 1 (traffic direction is from VRR towards Russkiy Bridge)
The flyover is located on the intersection of Exit N1 and Universitetskaya Street. Total length of the viaduct is 183.62 m. Deck is being designed as a RC structure of H-type cross-section main girders with solid RC slab of carriageway. Piled foundation is being developed via bored piles. Solid pier body has the same trapeze form with middle cross-section of 1.5 х 3.2 m. Monolithic cross-bar is being installed with dimensions of 1.5 х 7.2 m.
Utility tunnel PK9+59.6
Straight-forward type tunnel should cross VRR axis orthogonal way. Water drainage effectiveness must be ensured by means of 10º slope. Tunnel is being constructed out of monolithic RC on natural foundation. Cross-section is being considered as square one with 2х2.4 m dimension of internal edges plus walls of 300 mm thickness.
Flyover located on PК12+50
New flyover should cross main passage on PK12+50 and must be helpful for isolated areas linkage. Total length of viaduct is being designed as 73.96 m. Piled foundation of abutments is being installed via bored piles. Intermediate pier is being placed on natural foundation. RC deck structure is being fulfilled out of 8 main girders of H-type cross-section with monolithic slab of carriageway above.
Bridge crossing on PK14+92 over the ravine
This bridge should cross main passage on PK14+92. Pier foundations are being planned via bored piles. The body of intermediate pier has two supports of Ø1/0 m. Cross-bar of the pier is being calculated as a solid structure of 1.8 х 10 m. Pier location is being arranged via angle of 66° regarding VRR axis. Deck is being fulfilled as a RC structure of five H-type cross-section main girders with solid RC slab of carriageway.
Bridge crossing on PK20+65 over the ravine
Our bridge should cross the ravine on PK20+6. Total length of the structure is 27.2 m. Piled foundation of piers is being considered via bored piles. Abutments body composed of two supports of Ø1.0 m. Monolithic cross-bar has 1.8 х 10 m cross-section. Deck is being installed via RC structure of five H-type cross-section main girders with solid RC slab of 180 mm carriageway thickness.
Flyover on PK34+62
Next flyover on PK34+62 shall cross the Exit within Grodekova Street. Total length of this viaduct is 87.95. Pier foundations are being installed by means of bored piles. The body of intermediate pier has three supports of 1.2 m. Piers are being located via 90° towards VRR axis. Solid cross-bar has 2 х 16.15 m cross-sections. Deck is being completed as a RC structure of seven H-type cross-section main girders with solid RC slab of carriageway.
Bridge over the Sea Channel
Suspension bridge crossing is being arranged within VRR main passage and should link Grodekova Street, Sea Channel with new motorway as well as gravity anchors plus technological approach. The structure is being located on the curve range up to 310 m. Total length of left direction is being considered as 980.3 m. Pier foundation is being planned on bored piles. Body of the pier is being composed of two supports of Ǿ1.5 m per each direction. Solid cross-bar has 2 х 8.75 m cross-section. Deck is being calculated as a RC structure of two H-type cross-section main girders with solid RC slab of carriageway.
Bridge over the Eastern Bosporus Strait
Suspension Bridge Crossing is being designed within main passage of VRR Highway and should cross Eastern Bosporus Strait. The structure has 280х70 m navigation clearance. Main span has 1,180 m long with two pylons to be arranged within coastal area. Monolithic pylons are being installed on bored piled foundation of Ø2m Main girders should be accomplished as an orthotropic slab. Gravity anchorage must be included in present design.
Flyover on PK68+03.46 – PK81+48.620
The above viaduct should be placed on coastal area and cross approaches to the beach district. Total length of flyover is considered 1,345.16 m. Piers foundation is being calculated on bored piles. Body of the pier is composed of two supports per each path. Piers should be arranged on 90° relating VRR axis. Cross-bar is being constructed as a monolithic one. Deck is being completed as a RC structure of two H-type cross-section main girders with solid RC slab of carriageway.
Flyover on PK81+48.62 – PK93+55.71
This structure should be located on coastal area and link approaches to the beach district. Intermediate pier body is being composed of two supports. The entire length of flyover is considered as 1,207.09 m. Piers are being arranged on 90° relating VRR axis. Cross-bar is being premeditated as a monolithic one. Deck is being conducted as a RC structure of five H-type cross-section main girders with solid RC slab of carriageway with 180 mm of average thickness.
Flyover on PK93+55.71 – PK97+36.869
Our flyover should be located within beautiful coastal area. Total length of the structure is being calculated as 381.159 m. Groundwork of piers is being designed on piled foundation. Body of intermediate pier is being composed of two supports per each direction. Piers should be installed on 90° relating VRR axis. Cross-bar structure is being fulfilled as monolithic one. Deck is being completed as a RC formation of five H-type cross-section main girders with solid RC slab of carriageway.
Exit N1 of transportation interchange along Kazanskaya Street
The above-mentioned exit is being completed within coastal area along VRR. Total length should be 333.2 m. Total piers are being installed on piled foundation. Body of intermediate pier is composed of two supports. Piers position should be arranged on 90° towards the exit. Deck is being fulfilled as a RC structure of two H-type cross-section main girders with solid RC slab of carriageway.
Exit N2 of transportation interchange along Kazanskaya Street
Aforementioned exit is being reckoned as a link of VRR with Kazanskaya Street and intersection of RR via sharp angle. The entire structure dimension is being fulfilled via 151.6 m long. Groundwork of piers is being arranged on piled foundation. Piers are being placed by skew angle towards axis of the exit (due to position near those RR). Pier head is being designed as monolithic one. Deck is being completed as a RC structure of two H-type cross-section main girders with solid RC slab of carriageway.
Flyover of Kazanskaya Street
This flyover is being installed to cross RR and transportation roundabout. Total length of the structure is 293.09 m. Groundwork of piers is being arranged on piled foundation. Piers are being constructed via right angle towards approach axis and via skew angle towards composite structures. Pier head is
being completed as a monolithic one. Deck is being calculated as a RC structure of two H-type cross-section main girders with solid RC slab of carriageway. Transportation roundabout within intersection of RR. Construction of two flyovers is being prearranged within transportation roundabout over the RR. Total dimension of the right direction viaduct is 88.46 m long and the entire length of the left on is 99.36 m. Pier foundation is being installed on natural soil. Piers are being placed via right angle towards axis of the exit. Pier head is being considered as a monolithic one. Deck is being designed as a RC structure of two H-type cross-section main girders with solid RC slab of carriageway.

On the above areas monolithic retaining walls of angle type on piled foundation are being
designed. Thickness of retaining wall is considered within 0.6… 1.0 depends on the structure height.
Utility flyover
Utility flyover is being designed for passage of electrical cables, water and heat pipes. Steel structure is being composed of three spans which should cross RR parallel way regarding being constructed viaduct on transportation roundabout. Total length of the structure is 80 m. Main girders have height of 1,400 mm and should be braced via H-beam with a distance of one meter for deck arrangement on upper level as well as for fixation of water and heat tubes on bottom level.
