DESIGN STAGE
2004 – 2005
PROJECT STRUCTURE
Lunskaya-A Platform (LUN-A)
Russia's first offshore gas production platform, designed for year-round operation under harsh climatic, wave, ice, and seismic conditions.
Installed at a depth of 48 meters, 15 km off the northeastern coast of Sakhalin Island.
The platform is equipped with equipment for drilling, distribution of hydrocarbons, liquids, and water, and storage of chemicals.
Production capacity: gas – 51 million m3/day. Piltun-Astokhskaya-B Platform (PA-B)
The platform is installed 12 km off the northeastern coast of Sakhalin Island. Sakhalin, offshore, at a depth of 32 meters.
A four-legged, gravity-based concrete platform with a fully integrated platform deck.
The topsides are installed using a float-on method on a pre-installed concrete base.
The PA-B platform is 121 meters high.
The platform is equipped with equipment for drilling, distributing hydrocarbons, liquids, and water, and storing chemicals.
Production capacity: oil ~8,974 t/day (70,000 bpd); associated gas – 2.8 million m3/day.
