BIRZHEVOY BRIDGE OVER THE MALAYA NEVA RIVER, SAINT-PETERSBURG
Birzhevoy Bridge is the one over the Malaya Neva River that links Birzhevaya Square of Vasilievski Island with Mitnenskaya Embankment of Petrogradskaya District of Saint-Petersburg.
Major renovation of the above bridge is started on autumn of 2021.The structure was out of proper repair for almost sixty years long and the aforesaid renovation was essential. During the entire scope of work the traffic was completely closed for the reason of basic structural elements exchange.
Total works was fulfilled ahead of designated schedule. Being applied Bascule System Design of Birzhevoy Bridge has no analogues in the whole world.
