EASTERN HIGHWAY
Motorway ‘Eastern Highway’ plus flyover with transportation interchange of several levels within intersection of railroad Tumen-Surgut-Novy Urengoy.
Our construction site includes motorway being designed as a detour of city center up to industrial part of Novy Urengoy (South-Eastern part of the city) and further up to Northern part of Eastern side of Urengoy, which should make transportation status quo of the city much more comfortable for local inhabitants to reach any district of the city by means of railroad crossing and over the viaduct of Sede-Yaha. The entire length of the aforementioned construction site should be about 3,047 km.
CONSTRUCTION SITE INCLUDES:
artificial structures;
two viaducts over the railroad being designed as a transportation interchange;
bridge crossing over the Sede-Yaha River;
new watercourse of Varengayaha River.
WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE ONE:
New site is located in severe permafrost area of frozen hummocky swamps, frozen polygonal peat lands together with birch-larch plus low-coniferous forests and woodlands. Swamp system of the area has specific structure.
The section of being designed motorway is composed mainly of thawed soils, permafrost soils and sand of medium hard-frozen weak-ice massive cryogenic structure within depth of about 9 -15 m.
